Welcome to Rosewood Pups
For more than 37 years I have been crafting a legacy of love by raising AKC Yorkies, Maltese, Havanese as well as designer breeds guaranteed to melt your heart.
I’m Cheryl and my journey caring for little ones started when I was just a child. Raised by a grandmother that was a midwife raising 7 of her own children thru the depression I was born the oldest of what was to become 35 grandchildren.
Our Dog Breeds
At Rosewood Pups, we raise Maltese, Yorkies, Maltipoo & Havanese puppies with love. We turn our passion for these breeds into your forever furry friends. Our puppies are part of our family, receiving constant love and care.

Cheryl is an expert and actually cares about her furbabies. Also, she told me I can message her anytime I have questions. Excellent, healthy puppies. We named ours Cupcake. I am extremely happy with our new furbaby. Now I will be collecting dog clothing and dog items with cupcakes all over them
We picked up our Maltipoo today. Cheryl was so great to meet us 1/2 way for pick up. She is very knowledgeable on her puppies and is very helpful! We know Ellie Mae is going to fit right in with our family ! I suggest if you want to adopt a beautiful puppy she would be great in helping you find the right one!
We got our Havanese through Cheryl. He’s the most sweet & adorable little guy. Cheryl was very helpful and gave us tons of great information beforehand, lots of pictures and video, and when we got the dog she had records of his shots, AKC documentation, and even a birth certificate. Definitely recommend!
Going Home What to Expect
So the day has finally arrived time has come to welcome your new family member.
In your puppy bag there is a new bag of food, some toys and chews so you don’t have to worry about changing diet.
In the folder along with papers, birth certificate and vet records is a puppy training schedule assuring everyone gets off on the right foot. The schedule details out how many hours to crate, when to take outside and establish a playtime. Routine is important the first few weeks.
Bringing your puppy home it is important to hold, caress and comfort them, establishing a bond that you are a safe space. Do not let them hide and if they do immediately locate and hold them. You want them to begin to relate your scent with home. It’s important to note that puppies see more with their noses than they do with their eyes so establishing that bond early is critical.
